Homeschool

Ancient Urn

If you are the parent of a homeschool student, you spend a lot of energy, time, and effort making sure your child receives the best education possible. We are a homeschool family, so we are well aware of the advantages it holds over a public or even private school environment. We also know that sometimes you need someone to come alongside and help. As a result of our expertise and experience, homeschool families enjoy ready access to well-researched workshops and videos presented by historians dedicated to prompting students to explore all learning through discernment, adventure, and patience.

Ancient Building

History is an extraordinarily important and yet often ignored subject these days. It can be difficult to find quality information, and even then, how does one separate fact from fiction? While our work reviews the specifics of historical situations, we also examine those matters in light of past events as well as present day circumstances. In addition to discussing dangers of misinformation and connecting history to our modern times, another passion of ours is exploring aspects of history that are not commonly discussed. Diving into these more obscure elements fosters a greater appreciation for the "back-of-the-tapestry" reality of "all-things-history." We look forward to sharing our passion for history with homeschool families.

In order to prepare students for a college environment, our presentation format is modeled after a college course format. Generally speaking, the homeschool environment and the college environment are very different, and that difference has the potential to induce some “culture shock” in the early days of freshman year. Introducing the college format in high school situations will assist homeschoolers in adapting quickly to their college experience.
